PM SelectThis month sees the launch of a new and distinctively different title for anyone who is anyone in property, including those responsible for design, construction and FM. Property Management Select cuts across all sectors to focus on issues that matter to senior managers and decision-makers in the property industry. With maximum space devoted to subjects that count - and the facts to support them - PM Select is set to become the authoritative magazine.

"It's the magazine that the marketplace says it wants", according to the editor, Peter MacLeod, who is very clear about where PM Select is positioned: "we're breaking the mould with PM Select by creating an issue-led title aimed at a high-level, director-level readership". The inaugural issue of the magazine includes features on a major brownfield site transformation - MediaCityUK - the sustainability challenge for the 2012 Olympic site, Tesco's drive towards reducing its carbon footprint, sustainable space provision, e-permits for contractors and the IUCN's new headquarters in Switzerland.

PM Select comes as a breath of fresh air with its focused and balanced coverage of issues that matter to senior managers and decision-makers. It stands in stark contrast to other titles that wallow in doom and gloom, berating politicians for not making life easier for consultants and contractors.

To help PM Select keep a true sense of perspective on the issues that matter, an Editorial Advisory Board has been formed with representation across a broad spectrum of interests and knowledge domains. Dr Brian Atkin, Director of the Society is amongst other leaders in their fields who will be contributing regularly to PM Select.
